Sword

The sword is an instrument of war that has played the biggest role in winning and losing many wars throughout history. The sword is not only an instrument of war but also the most beautiful and meaningful gift decor that reflects our cultural heritage and reminds our history. As Kılıçustası, we produce Ottoman swords and Islamic sword models in accordance with the Handmade Original by keeping our Cultural Heritage alive. At the same time, we also produce sword models in different cultures, some of which vary such as European sword models, Katana Sword, Film sword models. As a Turkish company, we are introducing our sword designs from Turkey to the whole world.

The Most Meaningful Decor Keeping Historical Culture Alive

Imagine a craft that has been passed down from grandfather to grandchild for 850 years, shaped with mastery, reeking of history... This craft is not just a craft, but a symbol of a culture, a tradition, the honor of a nation: Sword making.

In the past, the sword, the most valuable weapon of the battlefields, would take shape in the hands of a master and become not only a weapon, but also the most meaningful example of art, patience and labor. Today, however, with the changes brought about by the modern age, this profession seems to have lost its former glory. And why is that?

During the Ottoman period, sword-making was considered not only for warfare, but also a branch of art. Swordsmiths knew how to soften iron in fire, how to shape it with a hammer, and how to make it as strong and sharp as possible. Each sword was specially designed for its owner and had a meaning with inscriptions, patterns or symbols.

Today, swords are highly valued as a collector's item, a decor, or even a gift, rather than as a tool of war. Nevertheless, this profession remains an important legacy of our culture.
